How do I import information into Capzule?
Lists such as patients, drugs, ICD/CPT codes etc., can be imported from CSV files by uploading directly to Capzule.com. You will need a scanner to import paper documents. Existing computer documents of common formats can be imported for each patient through the file upload option in the chart online, or with the CapzuleDesktop software. CapzuleDesktop is a Windows software that allows you to upload data to Capzule.com. This can be downloaded from our website. CapzuleDesktop can connect to devices (blood analyzers) that transmit data in ASTM format as well as process lab results you receive in HL7 format. How do I make payments?
Payments are due at the beginning of each month, and you will be required to enter your credit card information from which payments will be automatically made every month. What happens when my credit card expires?
Capzule will alert you when it cannot process your credit card. There will be no disruption in the service due to credit card expiration for 30 days. If a new credit card is not entered within that 30 day period, and we are unable to process a payment, your account will be disabled. What happens to the data if I discontinue using the service?
When a service agreement is terminated, upon request, we will send your data by mail on a digital media that can be accessed using a PC. There will be a charge involved in preparing the media backup and shipping, which may vary depending on factors such as data volume, efforts taken to process it, and your shipping address. How do you ensure security?
Capzule is HIPAA compliant, and maintains the highest standards in computer and internet security including server protection through continuous monitoring, firewalls, antivirus protection, and 128 bit SSL encryption. How do you protect patient privacy?
Each practice can access only their patients, and are given User IDs exclusively for the staff you choose to give rights to. Because we are HIPAA compliant, patient privacy is taken seriously. In addition to role based access restrictions, Capzule also provides specified user access so that staff members can be locked out of portions of the site that you deem unnecessary to access. Tamper proof docs ensure that once a chart encounter has been signed off, the information is permanent and unalterable. Can you add a feature that is very specific to my practice?
We will consider requests and integrate features into our system after reviewing the benefit to all of our clients. Do you have developers API?
No, we do not have a public API available at this moment. Are you ONC-ATCB certified?
No. We are currently undergoing the process of certification. We expect to get Capzule EMR certified soon. Why does Capzule not have lists of ICD/CPT codes?
In order to provide you with a less expensive solution we only offer lists that are available for free. Some lists, such as ICD and CPT codes, cost additional overheads/royalties to keep updated. However, Capzule does have list management capability in which each clinic maintains lists of various frequently used codes. Do you have e-Prescription capability?
No. Currently we only provide options to Fax and Print prescriptions. |
